Lady Nadine & Myself (Conf. 06’) |
I began my Warm Spirit business February 19, 2006. I heard of Warm Spirit a few months prior when I received my September 2005 subscription edition of Essence Magazine. In it was an article about a woman named Sherry Fields who, after losing her six-figure corporate income, had replaced it and exceeded it with generating $100,000 + in sales by sharing and selling Warm Spirit products and sharing the business opportunity with family, friends, and colleagues. I was intrigued by the article. I know I read it at least 20 times, but never acted on it. I put the magazine on my bookshelf, and went on my merry way. Fast forward to February 2006. I was attending a training at work, and on my team was a very nice lady, and we struck up a conversation while on our lunch break. She started talking about this company called Warm Spirit. I immediately thought back to that article in Essence magazine. She shared a catalog and sample with me, and invited me to her “Open House” event. At first I wasn’t going to go, but decided to go on anyway. I’m so glad I did. I was met by some of the nicest and friendliest people! The wonderful aromas just took over! I was like a “kid in a candy store”, moving from station to station trying out products. Coming from a line of family entrepreneurs, I knew at that moment that Warm Spirit was something that I had to be apart of! After about a 20-minute conversation in her basement, I went through my paperwork, asked my questions, received my answers and signed up on the spot! I made the decision that I was going to do this right, or not at all. I began my business at the highest level possible. So, I purchased the $500 jumpstart kit, because it had the most benefits and it gave me my first promotion. I made my investment back within my first 2 months and I haven’t looked back. Lesson Learned: Don’t put off tomorrow, what you know in your heart and gut you can and should do today! I let my “opportunity” sit on a bookshelf for six months before acting on it. Don’t make the same mistake. |
